FURIOUS COYOTES RALLY SHOCKS CAL TIDE, 40-29
(PASADENA) -- The SoCal Coyotes overcame a 21-19 half-time deficit with a furious rally that included an electrifying 81-yard kickoff return by Shaine Boyle, deep 80-yard Nate Lewis strikes to three different receivers, and relentless defensive pressure to shock the California Tide at home 40-29. With the coming-of-age victory, the Coyotes improved to 2-1 in the Southern California Football Alliance.
The AAA SoCal Coyotes play in the UFAL Eastern Divison of the Southern California Football Alliance. Head Coach J. David Miller is a 2013 Hall of Fame inductee. QB Nate Lewis and Miller were the 2012 National Player and National Coach of the Year.
The SoCal Coyotes were 2012 champions of the Pacific West Football League and runners-up during the 2013 spring season of the Wild West Football League. This fall, the team will play in the vaunted UFAL Eastern Division of the prestigious Southern California Football Alliance, the only CA where a team can win a state or national AAA title.
